Commando Attack Game
- Board game featuring grassy-terrain cardboard map (9 sq. ft.) with ends marked by Joe and Cobra structures; 24 figure stands with foot pegs and cut-outs of Joe and Cobra characters.
- Licensed to Milton Bradley and released in winter 1986.
- Though figures could be used for any team, cut-outs were color coded. G.I. Joe's Red Team consisted of Spirit, Flint, Quick Kick, Dusty, Alpine, and Shipwreck. Joe's Orange Team included Gung-Ho, Duke, Recondo, Bazooka, Lady Jaye, and Footloose.
- Cobra's Blue Team was Destro, Storm Shadow, Firefly, Zartan, Tele-Viper, and Eel. The Green Team had Cobra Commander, Baroness, Ripper, Crimson Guard, Tomax, and Xamot.
- At the time of release, there were 23 Joes and 13 Cobras not included among the cut-outs, most notably Snake Eyes, Roadblock, and two of the Dreadnoks.
- A completely remodeled version, with vehicles and a disc launcher, was released in 2002. Playing pieces consisted only of the twelve characters released that year as figures for Joe vs. Cobra Wave 1. Note that 2002 editions are often resold mislabeled as "Vintage 1985." The later game can be distinguished by a black box, Joe vs. Cobra artwork, and the large green disc launcher. The 1985 version came in a white box.
