Sunbow's Falcon wore his 1987 outfit, but with brown camo instead of black, and had black hair. His chest straps and belt were brown as well. He was characterized as an irresponsible misfit redeemed through Sgt. Slaughter's training and Duke's self-sacrifice. The Movie also gave hints of a budding relationship with Jinx. In the DiC series, he wore the 1992 outfit with fewer camo spots. Both series depicted Falcon as Duke's half-brother.

"Green Berets are specialists in training and leading native insurgents. Native insurgents are usually primitive tribal peoples who respond to two types of leadership. You can bully and overwhelm them with superior firepower and technology... Or you can bite the head off a snake, chug-a-lug the local beverage, and yell, 'Follow me!' Falcon is a snake-biter if I ever saw one."

"Leading a covert team at night in poor visibility conditions and under strict noise discipline seems almost impossible. Lt. Falcon accomplishes this task by establishing an intimate rapport with his team, working with them to earn their respect. A Night Force team led by Lt. Falcon functions almost as a single entity, with each member alert, responsive, and trusting each other to do his job!"

When you go stepping out into bad-guy country with the Falcon, you can depend on him to pull his own weight and put his butt on the line when the 'worst possible scenario' becomes a bone-chilling reality. LT. FALCON'S family has been in the military for generations, and although he has had many successful missions leading various G.I. JOE teams over the years, he still feels the need to prove himself out of familial competition. Despite his officer rank, LT. FALCON prefers to be in the thick of the action with his team. He particularly enjoys operations that involve infiltrating COBRA Island, trying to get as close to the head snake as he can.
LT. FALCON is an invaluable addition to Operation: Anaconda. His numerous excursions to COBRA Island have given him a familiarity with the layout, and his Special Forces training has prepared him for the harsh geographical environment, from the stinking swamps to the treacherous volcanic mountains.
On one of his reconnaissance missions to the island, LT. FALCON learned of an upcoming meeting between COBRA COMMANDER and an unknown force named "BLACK DRAGON." From what he could ascertain, this may well lead to an evil alliance of legendary proportions—and could spell doom for the entire free world. LT. FALCON is confident that his knowledge of COBRA headquarters will enable him to infiltrate and sabotage this union. But LT. FALCON does not know about the island's increased security—will the team even make it past the beach?

As a second-generation Green Beret, LT. FALCON has the Special Forces in his blood. His boyhood was spent in emulating his father and preparing to be the toughest of the tough. Scaling mountains, parachuting from planes, rappelling down sheer cliffs, and crawling through dense jungle is a walk in the park for LT. FALCON. He can field strip, clean, and reassemble most common military pistols, submachine guns, and assault rifles in complete darkness and not wind up with leftover parts. His disciplined, focused nature and sharply honed combat skills came in handy when he faced the vicious, bat-winged NEMESIS IMMORTAL monster during the Battle of Cobra-La.

As a second-generation Green Beret, LT. FALCON has the Special Forces in his blood. His boyhood was spent emulating his father and preparing to be the toughest of the tough. Always disciplined and focused, he hates the down time between missions and thinks it's "fun" to free-fall parachute into the desert for three weeks with nothing but a canteen. He can field strip, clean, and reassemble most common military pistols, submachine guns, and assault rifles in complete darkness and not wind up with leftover parts. Scaling mountains, parachuting from planes, rappelling down sheer cliffs, and crawling through dense jungle is an everyday walk in the park for LT. FALCON. In addition to his primary specialty, he was trained in demolitions, medicine, and languages (Spanish, French, Arabic, and Swahili).
"The only kind of respect worth having is the kind that you earn, by pulling your own weight and putting your life on the line for your team."
