CRIMSON GUARD troopers are placed in squads that are assigned a particular area, where the troopers infiltrate various professions of power. Overseeing these small groups are CRIMSON GUARD squad leaders, with whom the troopers maintain contact while in the field. Squad leaders monitor the progress of their group, relay orders from their commanders, and spearhead specialized operations of corporate and political espionage. A squad leader has risen from the rank of trooper by proving his worth through measurable results: money in COBRA coffers, businesses under his control, and politicians in his pockets.
