Muskrat spent his formative years up to his knees in one swamp or another, hunting raccoon, possum, and wild pig. He was able to hold his own against poachers, 'gator skinners, moonshiners, escapees from the chain gangs, and smugglers. Ranger school and JWTC [Jungle Warfare Training Center] seemed like summer camp to him. As far as he was concerned, they weren't teaching him anything exotic at all!
"If I had to go chase down Muskrat in the swamp, I'd give up before I started .He'd be sprinkling cayenne pepper in his tracks to throw the dogs off, laying false trails into water moccasin lairs, rigging deadfalls, setting snares, and having himself a good ol' time, never even workin' up a sweat. I'd just as soon go home and watch TV."

He was able to hold his own against poachers, 'gator skinners, moonshiners, escapees from the chain gangs, and smugglers. Ranger school and JWTC [Jungle Warfare Training Center] seemed like summer camp to him. When he was tapped for Night Force duty he was sent to advanced night warfare school. By the time he graduated, he was teaching the experts a thing or two about nighttime swamp fighting!

Muskrat spent his formative years up to his knees in one Louisiana swamp or another, hunting raccoon, possum, and wild pig. He held his own against poachers, moonshiners, escapees from chain gangs, and smugglers. After that childhood, Ranger school, and JWTC (Jungle Warfare Training Center) seemed like summer camp to him, so he joined the rigorous Battle Corps team. His years in the Louisiana bayou gave him the perfect background for hunting criminals like the Headhunters in the swamps along the Florida coast. And even if he has to chase them through alligator infested waters he knows he'll get his man, no one can outrun him OR his bullets!
"After hunting in swamps I thought I'd seen the worst pond scum around, but nothing compares to Cobra scum!"
Toy Notes: Featured in 1993's Shark 9000 commercial. Originally intended as part of 1993's D.E.F. line, but moved into Battle Corps when it was canceled. The Australian release retained the D.E.F. packaging. Item #6759.
