Cross-Country has taken to using country music to distract Cobras in battle. Following a successful raid on a Cobra operation in the arctic, his tape deck is stolen by robotic rodents. The next morning, many Joes complain of their own missing items. Cross-Country sets out another as bait that night and follows the ratillo through air vents, outside, and into town, all the way to a secret underground base. There Cobra Commander has assembled followers devoted to destroying Serpentor.
As Cross-Country is discovered and pursued by Dreadnoks, Mainframe notices a disk has been stolen and notifies General Hawk. Cross-Country is captured but quickly escapes and uses a lighthouse to signal a passing boat. As Destro works to decipher Mainframe's stolen file, the Joes pick up Cross-Country and assault Cobra Commander's base and drive the enemy into retreat. Mainframe then discovers the missing file was only a computer game.
