Though not officially a member of the G.I. Joe Team, Col. Sharp relayed orders from the Pentagon and gave the Joes their briefings and assignments prior to the second season, when General Hawk joined the cast. He wore a highly decorated, mustard yellow officer's uniform. No official action figure prior to 2009 bore Col. Sharp's likeness. The character's name is spelled Sharpe in some references.
