After Sgt. Slaughter leads a raid on an ally of Cobra in Southeast Asia, Wet-Suit receives an invitation to enter a local martial arts competition. In a case of mistaken identity, Slaughter is kidnapped and taken to the event, which is being run by international criminal Pierre LaFonte, to recruit an assassin to work for Cobra Commander. As Beach-Head leads a search team, Slaughter fights his way through the tournament.
During the search, Wet-Suit is taken by LaFonte's men and pitted against Slaughter in the tournament. They take their fight outside where the search team is waiting. Cobra Commander arrives and is appalled to see Joes there, and the search team attacks. Wet-Suit lets loose the rest of the competitors, and Cobra is forced to flee. In the end, LaFonte reveals that the intended target for the assassination was Serpentor.
