G.I. Joe: The Movie, Part 5

Serpentor delivers the B.E.T. to Cobra-La, and it immediately begins energizing the mutating spores in orbit. Hawk rallies the Joes for an immediate raid of Cobra-La's ice dome, but he leaves the Rawhides to watch Joe HQ. Roadblock is found by Flint's search party, and he warns the Rawhides about Cobra-La's dangerous plants, but the warning comes too late to prevent the capture of Hawk's team. The Rawhides rendezvous with Flint and Roadblock and, aided by the mutated Cobra Commander, find a secret entrance to Cobra-La. They free the other Joes and lead an assault on the ice dome. After successfully dueling Cobra-La's leaders, they use the B.E.T. to fry the orbiting spores while the Joes evacuate. The machine's overload destroys the ice dome, and the Joes celebrate as Doc reports that Duke has come out of his coma.

  • The Movie first aired on television in its entirety on Saturday, April 18, 1987. It was released on VHS that August and entered rotation among the G.I. Joe series reruns as a five-part miniseries, beginning as early as September.
