Cobra Infantry Trooper

Previous character: Action Man
Next character: Cobra Squad Leader

Animated Appearances

To my knowledge, Cobra Infantry Troopers (as distinct from classic Cobra Troopers) were never animated.

Headcanon

Cobra Infantry Troopers replaced Cobra Troopers from 1985 to 1989, being really nothing more than a formal name change and minor costume upgrade. Their appearance can be represented by any version, but I default to Version 1.

The COBRA INFANTRY Troopers are the basic fighting group of the COBRA organization. They come from all over the world and usually have questionable and, more commonly, criminal backgrounds. They are given basic training and gear, then told to go out and cause trouble. What they lack in military tactical skill, they make up for in sheer numbers and general nastiness. They are completely dedicated to COBRA COMMANDER and the evil leader's ultimate goals of dismantling the G.I. JOE Team and ruling the world.
