G.I. Joe Public Service Announcements
|
Famous for the dialogue that closes each piece ("Now I know!" / "And knowing is half the battle!"), these thirty segments appeared between the final commercial break and the closing credits of each episode of the two regular seasons of the Sunbow series. Most are also included on the Shout! Factory DVDs. Each segment featured children facing a challenge of health, safety, or basic socialization, with one or two members of the G.I. Joe team showing up to deliver advice or save the day. (I do not know which segments aired with which episodes, or in what order.) Five PSAs were also produced for the second season of The Transformers, with the same setup and tagline but starring Autobots, but they did not air.
