Cobra is holding a complex of caves in southern France in search of a second source of Dragonfire power. As Destro leads the search, four Joes sneak into the caves. Lady Jaye and Low-Light witness the Baroness using Dragonfire to restore Cobra Commander to a humanoid form, while Scoop meets secretly with his Cobra contact, who is now an Alley Viper. As Cobra successfully links the two Dragonfire sites, the caves begin flooding. Stalker stumbles upon Scoop and Alley Viper, assuming they are fighting, so he battles Alley Viper in the water but saves him from drowning. The Joes signal the Thunderclap to blow a hole in the wall of the cave, letting the water out and allowing the Joes to escape. Elsewhere, Cobra Commander states his intention to reclaim his rule of Cobra.
