While fishing and camping with Alpine and Cutter, Bazooka sees a Cobra Trubble Bubble swallowed by a giant mechanical sea serpent. On the way back to the U.S.S. Flagg, they rescue a family from a wrecked boat. The boy, Jimmy, tells Duke the boat was attacked and bitten. Five other ships were attacked that night. Elsewhere, Tomax and Xamot meet with ship owners and demand protection money. With Shipwreck's help, Lady Jaye and Quick Kick locate and board Cobra Commander's boat. A fight ensues, damaging the remote that controls the serpent. Locked on attack mode, the serpent consumes the boat and everyone inside.
Lady Jaye jumps from the boat while inside the serpent and finds its creator, Professor Braxton. Cobra Commander and Quick Kick are put to slave labor by the serpent's automated systems. A fight between Joe Dragonflys and the serpent is filmed on the news, but Cobra's leaders decide to let the Joes deal with the serpent. Tracking the serpent, the Joes set up in New York Harbor. Bazooka manages to trick the serpent into biting itself, and Cobra forces move in to rescue the Commander. Ultimately, everyone escapes the serpent.
